Automotive Photographer / Filmmaker
A lot of time has passed since the early days of posting flickr.com photo album links on VWVortex threads and spending every last dime on to the next VW show, but the ethos has remained the same: Meet rad people and photograph their cars.
Now, you too can get your car photographed and/or filmed! Whether we're at the same VW event around the country, you're local to SoCal or you want me to come visit and shoot—anything is possible.
A Basic Photoshoot includes 20-30 edited photos for personal use only. That means you can post them, print them yourself, and do whatever personal things you might like.
However, that does not mean you have the right to tell the wheel company you bought wheels from that they, too, can use the photos. Companies, brands and events will need to contact me regarding commercial usage rights and fees.
No, not necessarily. There are a ton of factors that play into what ends up in the calendar, and there have been MANY shoots that I've done with intention of publishing in the calendar that never make it.
The photo/video content I produce for you is for your personal use only. You can post on your social media, make prints for your home, garage or office, or use the photos as part of a listing to sell the vehicle.
However, you do not have the right to grant permission to other companies, sponsors or publications to use these photos or videos without prior written approval and commercial licensing.
Commercial Example 1: The company that made your wheels or wrapped your car wants to use these photos on their website, in a catalog, on social media, etc. They need to click here and discuss commercial use about it first.
Commercial Example 2: A magazine wants to feature your car. You do not havethe right to sublicense the photo/video content to a magazine, and they will need to click here discuss editorial use about it first.
We make it work. Sometimes some rain can make for some incredible shots.
That said, I will not jeopardize the safety of people or equipment to make it happen, and if necessary, we can reschedule for another day.
Time is money and car show weekends get pretty chaotic. There's a finite amount of time to do shoots throughout a show weekend, and if I say no to someone else because you've committed, then you don't show up, all of us get burned.
That said, I understand that there are extenuating circumstances. If you need to cancel, please reach out immediately and we can explore rescheduling or possible refunds.
Yes! If you need to cancel your shoot, please email me at sam@morethanmore.com at least 48 hours before the event begins or our scheduled shoot time.
Cancellations within 48 hours will result in a 50% cancellation fee, with 50% of the shoot refunded through morethanmore.com to your original method of payment.
Within each shoot product page, you can choose selected events that I will be attending.
You can select your shoot based off the event, and after placing your order I will reach out by email or text to establish contact and start scheduling.
Since event weekends can be chaotic and fluctuate quite a bit, we can set a tentative day/time as the event gets closer and stay in touch if either party needs to adjust due to traffic, additional GTGs and events popping up, etc.
Bottom line is, once you've committed and paid, you're my top priority for the weekend and we will dial in a day and time that works best for you!
Short answer: Absolutely!
Long answer: We should chat more before talking numbers. I have a tremendous amount of experience in the automotive marketing world (on top of freelance VW scene work, I've been the creative director at Vossen Wheels for 5 years, Brand/Media Director at Wheel Pros and even Ken Block's Marketing Director).
I would love to chat about shooting for you, but also making sure you're getting what you're paying for and using it to its utmost potential. So let's chat!
